My Poetry Writing

                     

I am learning to use poetry in my writing . This is a slide that me and my group made shows that . We got our inspiration from two people, Joshua Iosefa and  Finnian Galbraith and their speeches  . I put their videos in the slide. The way the slide works is that we all have one slide and we had to make a part of a verse for Old Mac Donald . I hope you like our poetry writing .

My New Inquiry

My Option

At Wesley Int we have options on a Monday . Options are about what you want to do for a spec. The options are Tie Dye , Stop motion , Robotics , Sports Academy , Trash to fashion and Chess/News Team  . My option is Robotics . For robotics my group is working at the Mt Roskill Community Centre . Right now we are learning to go through a maze using a Robot . Next week we will be learning how to design a game . My goal is to make sure I use variables in my game .

Present Tense Writing

It is mid-day the sun is out with no clouds to be seen , The city was like a ghost town. The breeze from the wind is just pleasant . I smell warm hot dogs and I couldn’t resist just getting one so I glance and glaze with my peculiar hungry eyes . I finally spot the stand just across the road and rush to go buy one but there is no one there so I had to do something risky.

I feel tense and sweat appears down my head. I look around the road and see no one . So just take a peek at the hot dogs with my hands nice, and big . I just grab a hot dog  to have a taste . I taste it and I feel like I’m in heaven    . I have  another just for the road but I couldn’t handle it . I grab another and another .

Suddenly the man that was running the stand came . He looks very firm , with a red hat . I put the hot dogs behind my back trying to clutch the hot dogs to my back .

Once I was finally in the clear I took the hot dogs from my back and stuffed it in my mouth as I walk down the path. But that’s what I thought .

It was a hot day and there was a cricket match was going on .  A boy is too nervous to hit the ball and gets butterflies in his stomach . Then he gets courage and is determined to do it .

I did there photos because they were all related to the book and cricket .

The Learning Pit Reflection

Q1. Have you experienced the learning pit before ?

A1. Yes , once I was learning about decimals and subtracting them. It was hard because I didn't know how to do it.

Q2 What could you do to get out of the pit next time ?

by trusting in myself that I could do it , by learning about it at home and researching it.

Q3 What did you learn in the video ?

I learn that you learn by failure and mistakes .

Q4  How will it change your perspective on how you learn?

Because then I know that I can learn through all of my mistakes and fails.
