Wesley Int 2017 Market Day

On Thursday 7th of September, Wesley Int had a Market day where everyone made stalls and sold their products. Me, Mele, Avara and Sharlena sold Ice Cream Sundaes. Our flavors were Vanilla, Chocolate and Cookies and Cream. I enjoyed selling my product to the customers but what was challenging was getting the customers to come to our stall and also competing against the other ice cream stalls. I think next time I would put more advertisements out to attract more customers.

ASB Upcycling Project 2016

ASB Upcycling Project 

In 2016 Wesley Intermediate had a market day . My group had done Up cycling ( Type of recycling that uses old things to make something else) . In my group I had Rosie and Grace , We came up with the idea of up cycling from Rosie because she had done it before .

What was challenging ? I think what was challenging was thinking of what we were going to make and how much money it would take to make it . What I thought would be easy or not that hard to do ? I think maybe getting the slides and making it to look like what we wanted it to be .

After market day we got chosen to present our products to the NZ ASB All Blacks . I think what was challenging about presenting was that you were in a room full of people that can change your life for the better .

This is a badge that I have been given from someone . Our job was to create a badge on Google Drawings for someone else in the class or school . Then with the badge that we got from someone we would post it on our blogs . As you can see from the photo this is a badge that i got from Rosie . I like it and i think it really describes what I do at Wesley Int and it is just what i needed .

Ports Of Auckland (POA)

Ports Of Auckland 

On March 21, 2017, we went to the Ports of Auckland. We went on cars with our classmate's parents driving. We met this lady named Lichelle and she was our instructor at the Maritime Museum. She showed us around the outline of the museum and also showed us some boats and artifices from long ago. What I liked about the Ports Of Auckland was that I got to learn new thing as I progressed and also found some games that made me have fun but also learn some other things about it.

Softball Scorer !!

Softball Scoring !! 

Last week on Tuesday the 28th Feb 2017 I was scoring a Softball Tournament for the Y8s . I was really excited and hope that the day would go right . First we had to got to this deck made of wood and a stream near it . To get from school we had to walk all the way and go over a bridge . 

I got set to Diamond 5 . It look very professional with the base and all of that  . It had the booths that held the players in it and I had to get their batting line with my partner Deminika . Out of the whole day nothing bad had happened and I loved it cause it was good experience for me  . Hopefully next time I would have so much fun as I had on that day .  

My Poetry Writing

                     

I am learning to use poetry in my writing . This is a slide that me and my group made shows that . We got our inspiration from two people, Joshua Iosefa and  Finnian Galbraith and their speeches  . I put their videos in the slide. The way the slide works is that we all have one slide and we had to make a part of a verse for Old Mac Donald . I hope you like our poetry writing .
